Brooklyn rapper Medhane is enroute to claiming the rap throne with his recent self-released album Cold Water. Album track 'No Cap' has just been released alongside an incredible hand-drawn stop-frame animated video. The monochromatic drawing of Medhane smoking moves in a manner that reflects the drum beat's shuffles. The lyrical poetry moves between people and events, at the same pace that the animation is constantly transforming from clean lines to chaotic squiggles. However short and sweet, 'No Cap' reveals itself as a very personal, introspective journal into the mind of Medhane. -Ellie Rose-Davies
